With lineage to Theodor 'Dr. Seuss' Geisel, and a munchkin of the "Lollipop Guild" from the classic film 'The Wizard Of Oz', it's safe to say eccentricity, peculiarity, and a bit of whimsy run through my veins!
Thanks to a wonderfully supportive mother who nurtured my pursuit in the world of arts, I submersed myself in various forms of visual art, music, theater, dance, puppetry, and comedy.
In my late teens, I attended the Center For Creative Youth at Wesleyan University, which helped to expand my creativity thus graduating high school the following year, voted 'Class Artist' thus continuing my artistic path into college obtaining a degree in Visual Communications.
During my educational art journey in the early 90s, I landed employment in the Seattle music industry as the "Grunge" scene began to explode worldwide. 18 years afterward, in the spring of 1999, I discovered my love for circus arts and a passion for costume designing, character development, skit writing, creature fabrication, makeup application, stilt walking, theatrical magic, and nouveau clown.
7 years later, Cirque Du Soleil's talent scouts hunted me down with an invitation to audition for physical clown. 14 other performers from around the world were hand-selected to audition, only 3 of us were actually from Seattle. I feel that amazing experience became my baptismal in the entertainment waters, with Cirque eventually contracting me to provide promotional performances for their shows KOOZA & KURIOS.
Since then I've dedicated over 20 years of my life providing an enjoyable caliber of entertainment to audiences of all types. My wit is quick, my humor is sharp, and my jokes are original!
My goal is getting people to pause for a moment no matter how brief, and take in a breath of laughter or a twinkling of astonishment.
